Viox & Viox is thrilled to announce that one of our talented team members, Nate Adams, is officially a licensed Landscape Architect in the state of Kentucky!
Nate’s journey to this significant achievement began in 2016 when his passion for landscape architecture was sparked by Elaine Kearney’s Intro to Landscape Architecture class at Trinity University. From there, his dedication grew, culminating in becoming the first graduate of the UC DAAP Master of Landscape Architecture program, guided by influential mentors like Barry Kew and Virginia Russell.
Hired by Viox & Viox in the fall of 2020, Nate joined the team during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to his time with us, he worked as a high-end residential landscape designer with Druffel Design & Landscape in Cincinnati. With a talent for 3D visualization, Nate excels at turning designs into dynamic, tangible realities that reflect both his vision and that of the client.
Nate’s involvement in the professional landscape community extends beyond his work at Viox & Viox. He serves as Chair of the Miami Chapter for Ohio ASLA, covering the Dayton and Cincinnati regions, and is an active member of the UC Landscape Architecture Advisory Board. Nate is also a proud alumnus of Cincinnati Country Day School, where he remains involved with their Alumni Council.
When he’s not designing, Nate enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, Caileen, and their dog, Vinny, exploring national parks and traveling. He also treasures taking his son, Forrest, to the Cincinnati Zoo.
Reflecting on his licensure, Nate expressed deep gratitude: “This milestone represents years of dedication, learning, and hard work, but it wouldn’t have been possible without the support of so many amazing people. I want to extend a huge thank you to my mentors, colleagues, and everyone who believed in me along this path to licensure. And most importantly, I want to thank my wife and family for their constant love, patience, and support. I truly couldn’t have done this without them.”
We are incredibly proud of Nate’s accomplishment and excited to see the inspiring outdoor spaces he will continue to create. Congratulations on becoming a Landscape Architect, Nate! Here’s to many more milestones ahead.
