About Karrikin spirits

Viox & Viox provided civil engineering, surveying, and landscape architecture for the redevelopment of an abandoned warehouse facility into Karrikin Spirits, a distillery, brewery, and restaurant located in Fairfax, Ohio.

The Karrikin Spirits project consisted of the renovation of an old 32,785 square foot manufacturing building into a new distillery.  Viox & Viox provided full surveying services, site design services, and a landscape planting plan. Because this project was a redevelopment, extra time was spent during the Design Development Stage to ensure that the most efficient parking lot layout was produced. The parking lot was constructed on top of the old building foundation. The distillery plans to attract many visitors, and space was at a premium due to the existing site conditions.

Viox & Viox worked with the owners and the Village of Fairfax to guarantee that this project was designed and permitted in a timely manner and to ensure proper adherence to all local codes.  Karrikin Spirits opened for business in late 2018.  The distillery/brewery/restaurant offers customers a relaxing and cozy place to enjoy high quality cocktails and artisan bites.
