about traemore

A new residential development is taking shape in Union, Kentucky.  Traemore is an 87-acre single-family residential community located off Frogtown Road near U.S. 42 in Union, Kentucky.  Viox & Viox worked with The Drees Company to achieve the appropriate zoning approval with the Boone County Planning Commission and the City of Union. 

Once approved, Viox & Viox got to work on the site plan.  Viox & Viox designed two lakes as part of the development.  The lakes are both nice aesthetic amenities for the residents and serve to collect storm water and improve drainage on the overall site. Viox & Viox staff designed the lots to utilize as much of the lake frontage as possible when creating the residential lots.

The landscape architecture staff at Viox & Viox designed Traemore’s entry monument and landscaping.  In addition, the Viox team improved the public streetscape along U.S. 42 at the entrance of Traemore.  Traemore includes a neighborhood park which was designed by Viox & Viox and includes seating areas and a fishing dock along the lakefront.

Phase 1 of this project includes 109 single family lots on the north side of the property and is currently under construction.
