About Columbia-tusculum residence

Viox and Viox worked with the client of this beautiful English Tudor home, located on Mannington Avenue in the Columbia-Tusculum neighborhood of Cincinnati, to create a period-appropriate landscape design.  Following an initial site survey by Viox & Viox, our team of landscape architects and designers created three conceptual variations for a planting plan for the client.

The final landscape plan included a tall evergreen hedge in the back, new deck layout, new driveway layout, an arbor with fenced-in backyard, and stepping stone garden pathways. The previous dry-stacked landscape wall in the front yard was showing its age, so a new updated wall was designed. Due to the grade change in the front, a masoned stone wall was constructed that matched the existing stonework of the home. A new winding bluestone pathway to the street was also added.

The team at Viox & Viox provided a demo plan, site layout plan, planting plan, plant schedule, and plant images for the client, who then sought bids for the landscape installation.
