At Viox & Viox, March Madness is more than just a basketball tournament—it’s an annual tradition that brings our team together for a month of excitement, competition, and camaraderie. We kicked things off with our annual March Madness party, and as always, it was a fantastic time.
A Party to Start the Madness
Every year, we set aside time to gather as a team, enjoy great food, and watch the first game of the tournament together. Pizza and wings filled the room, while the game played on the big screen. It’s a chance to take a break from the workday, enjoy each other’s company, and get into the spirit of the tournament.
Along with watching the game, we kept things exciting with some friendly in-office competitions. This year’s party featured a basketball-themed word scramble and other fun challenges. We even introduced a new event—the Hot Sauce Challenge. Brave volunteers took on Wings & Rings’ Atomic Sauce, and let’s just say… not everyone walked away victorious.
Of course, March Madness at Viox & Viox doesn’t end after the party—it lasts all month long.
Keeping the Madness Going
Throughout the tournament, we keep the energy alive with plenty of ways to stay engaged, whether you’re a die-hard basketball fan or just in it for the fun:
- Company Bracket Challenge – Employees test their prediction skills (or luck) by filling out brackets. Some rise to the top, while others see their picks fall apart early.
- NCAA Hat Drawing – Each participant draws teams at random—sometimes you get a powerhouse, sometimes an underdog. Either way, it keeps things interesting!
- NCAA Squares Game – A fun, classic way to add another layer of competition to the tournament.
More Than Just Basketball
While March Madness is about competition, at Viox & Viox, it’s also about building a strong company culture. These events give us a chance to take a step back from work, connect with our coworkers, and share some laughs. It’s traditions like these that make our workplace not just productive, but enjoyable.
